Thank you all for attending our memoir evening last night. Each student worked extremely hard to put last night together. Stay tuned for pictures and some sixth grade reflections on the evening. Today, we will watch "Freedom Writers" (a movie that is based on a book we have read) as a way to celebrate all of our hard work.
A Look Ahead:
Our last writing project of the year will be an analytical literature essay. In June, sixth graders will be giving "exhibition" presentations to the fourth and fifth grade based on one novel that they will write about and study. More information on this to come.
