The sixth grade is currently working on:
Persuasive Essays: We are currently writing our first drafts and working on ordering the research and information that we have come up with.
Literature Circles: Over the past week the sixth grade has learned the various roles that take place in Literature Circle activities. These roles include: Discussion Director, Vocabulary Enricher, Summarizer, and Connector. Next week students will gather in groups,each playing one of these roles to discuss an assigned portion of our current class read.
Spanish Creative Projects: The sixth grade has been elbow deep in cereal boxes and paper mache to create a piece of art that honors a family member.
