Last Friday, each sixth grader chose a memoir to read over the mid-winter break. On Monday, they will be asked to hand in a written response. Here are the following questions that they should be sure to address within the response:
-What time period does this memoir cover?
-What structure has the author chosen to use? (Short stories, one narrative, etc.)
-What does the author come to learn about him or herself by the end of the novel?
-What do you think the author's purpose was in writing this novel?
