Today, Ash Wednesday, marks the start of the season of Lent.
This year, we are collecting funds for an organization called Haiti Partners. Its mission is to support teachers and the education of children in Haiti. In light of the recent earthquake, this organization is focusing particularly on giving aid to the people of Haiti, building learning center shelters and ultimately rebuilding schools.
